WHO WE ARE
We are a local team of six photography and videography professionals, based in Fox Chapel, Pennsylvania. We provide services to the Pittsburgh area, Western Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland, West Virginia, New York, Maine, and Florida, and would be happy to follow you to other destinations.
DANYELLE
Founder | Lead photogRAPHER
Danyelle's passion for photography was sparked while studying painting. Initially using the camera to enhance her artistic process, she soon began exploring photography as its own distinct medium. Before completing her art degree at Seton Hill University, she studied at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pratt Institute in New York City, and Touchstone Center for Crafts in the Laurel Highlands.
Her background in painting and traditional art deeply enriches her work as a photographer. With a strong understanding of light and shadow, as well as color and composition, she creates images that tell compelling visual stories. Her experience in realistic portraiture also allows her to retouch images so they appear natural, effortless, and polished.
When Danyelle isn't behind the camera lens, she shares her passion for the arts as a seasoned art teacher with 12 years of experience.
JARROD
Lead VIDEOGRAPHER | COLORIST
Jarrod was born and raised in Fox Chapel, Pennsylvania, and is a biochemist, turned aircraft firefighter, turned professional filmmaker—in no particular order—with a strong passion for color science, and its application towards the creation of beautiful images.
He began his journey into videography twenty years ago, when he produced a feature-length documentary, chronicling the trials and triumphs of his high school wrestling team. Over the years he has been involved in countless productions, including commercials, branding films, and, of course, weddings.
His approach to video is comprehensive: he believes an emotional response to film is achieved by the union of narrative driven scenes, carefully shaped light, and a color palette that is more felt than it is seen.
